100 deep Langstroth frames, flat-packed and ready to wire. Solid pine with grooved top and bottom bars that take either wax or plastic foundation — the workhorse frame for hobby and commercial hives alike.

What's included

  • 100 × deep (Langstroth) frames — flat-packed and unassembled
  • Grooved top and bottom bars — suit wax or plastic foundation
  • Side bars pre-drilled with 4 holes for wiring

Foundation and assembly nails are not included — add deep plastic foundation and frame nails separately (see below).

Why beekeepers choose these

We run these frames in our own hives. Pine keeps them light and easy to nail up, the grooved bars let you run wax or plastic foundation, and buying 100 at a time is the most economical way to keep a growing apiary stocked. A solid choice whether you're a hobbyist building out boxes or a commercial operator reframing at scale.

Features

  • Deep Langstroth size — fits standard 8- and 10-frame deep boxes
  • 1/2" (12.7 mm) grooved top and bottom bars — wax or plastic foundation
  • 4 pre-drilled wiring holes in the side bars
  • Solid pine timber
  • Choice of Commercial or Select grade
  • Flat-packed to keep bulk shipping costs down

Commercial vs Select grade

Commercial grade may have superficial knots or minor color variation in the timber. Select grade is a higher, knot-free grade. Both are structurally sound — choose Select if appearance matters to you.

Assembly & wiring

Frames ship flat-packed. To assemble you'll need frame nails or staples (and optionally wood glue) — these aren't included but are a quick add to your order.

You'll also need foundation: these deep frames take either wax or deep plastic foundation, which fits straight into the grooved bars.

To wire your frames, the side bars are pre-drilled with 4 holes. Many beekeepers fit brass eyelets in these holes to stop the wire cutting into the timber and extend frame life, and a frame wiring jig makes tensioning the wire across a batch this size much easier.
