Frame spacers are used to maintain the "bee space" within a hive by frame providing a guide so the frames are spaced evenly within the hive. They also help ensure the frames stay in place when moving a hive.

Each pack includes 4 metal spaces, enough for a 2 boxes (one spacer each end)
